"Matt is very professional and he did a ***phenomenal*** job on transforming my "second" back yard and making it safe and accessible again. It was completely overgrown and inaccessible, looked like a jungle back there. He cleared everything, and then covered the entire area with fabric and mulch and also replaced all of the barrier fencing that was old and damaged. It looks incredibly nice back there now! I highly recommend Carolina Brush Control."

"I cannot recommend Carolina Brush Control enough. My yard was incredibly overgrown, I couldn’t even walk to the back portion. Matt did an amazing job clearing everything out at a fair price. He was also very transparent with pricing before even giving me an official quote, which was really reassuring. I would definitely hire him again!"

"Outstanding work! Matt showed up on time and completed sooner than expected. Now we have walking trails and riding trails to use. I will definitely share his contact with anyone looking to clear land. 5 plus stars! Thanks again Matt!"

"I am an elderly man and have never written a review before. I am highly critical for products and services as I compare them to what type of customer service I was used to in the 1960's and 1970's. That being said, if I could have given 10 stars I would have. Matt is the owner of the company and also the operator of the equipment and responsible for the final outcome. I would describe Matt in the following Manner. Polite, professional, good communicator, very conscientious of his work, he is not worried about getting the job done his concern is getting the job done right. Matt is very meticulous in his work and pays attention to details. His pricing is competitive and work product is outstanding. I had no idea my property could look as good as it does now that Matt has cleared it. I highly recement him for any of your brush control needs and If needed I will be using him again in the future. I wish all businesses would take a lesson from Matt at Carolina Brush Control! Thanks Matt"

"Excellent service at a great price. Matt came and worked for 6 hours straight in intense heat to clear a rotted fence and significant debris build up on our property. He took great care to protect the lawn as much as possible. I highly recommend their services."

"Great work done by Matt! On time, professional, and great communication! Would highly recommend!"

"Matt at Carolina Brush Control did an AMAZING job clearing a very difficult, neglected section of our property! We had a large area overrun with invasive vegetation, weeds, and stumps from trees that we had previously removed. Matt not only cleared all of the vegetation and thoroughly mulched the area, but also removed and hauled away several large tree stumps completely — leaving us with level, clear land instead of piles of mulch from stump grinding. Matt was super friendly and communicative throughout the entire process and a genuine pleasure to work with. He even went above and beyond by weed whacking areas his larger equipment couldn’t reach, making sure the whole property was completely cleared and ready for the next phase of our project! I highly recommend Matt and Carolina Brush Control, even for the toughest jobs. Couldn’t be happier with the results!"

"Absolutely amazing! Wonderful company with the utmost attention to detail and execution. Highly recommended! Super efficient, yet thorough. And at the core, really nice people, focused on delivering beyond expectations!"

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I can’t say enough great things about Carolina Brush Control! Matt was an absolute pleasure to work with from start to finish. Communication was prompt, professional, and consistent, which made coordinating the project incredibly easy. The property had a challenging sloped hillside that was completely overgrown with trees, thick vines, and years of unmanaged brush. What looked like an overwhelming task was transformed in no time. Matt and his team worked efficiently, safely, and with incredible attention to detail, leaving the property looking cleaner, more accessible, and well cared for. It’s one thing to clear brush, it’s another to completely transform a landscape. Carolina Brush Control exceeded my expectations in every way. Their work instantly improved the property’s appearance and made it much easier to manage moving forward. As a property manager and Realtor, reliable vendors are invaluable, and Carolina Brush Control has absolutely earned a permanent spot on my recommendation list. If you’re looking for someone who communicates well, shows up, works hard, and delivers exceptional results, give Matt a call. You won’t be disappointed!"

"Carolina Brush Control did a fantastic job clearing the brush from my fence and the area beyond. Communication, promptness, attention to details satisfied my expectations! I definitely would hire him again!"

"We had Matt with Carolina Brush Control clear an overgrown drainage swale/creek along our property that had become heavily overgrown with brush, vines, saplings, and years of accumulated debris. From the beginning, Matt was professional, communicative, and easy to work with. He kept me updated on his arrival time, walked the property with me beforehand, and took the time afterward to explain what he had done and how to maintain it going forward. Matt worked incredibly hard all day with his mini excavator to remove small trees and stumps, clear the drainage channel and remove an old chain-link fence that had been trapping debris as well as hauling everything away. Even after I asked him to add some additional clearing behind the fence that wasn't part of our original walkthrough, he took it in stride. What impressed me most was his honesty and work ethic. He stayed much longer than I expected to make sure the job was done right but still honored the original price we had agreed on. It's rare to find someone who works that hard while also being so fair and straightforward. Our backyard looks dramatically better and the drainage channel is finally open again. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Carolina Brush Control to anyone needing brush clearing, land clearing, or drainage cleanup."

"I am so glad I came across Carolina Brush Control when I was searching for lot clearing services in Matthews, NC. Matt absolutely knocked it out of the ball park. He made my neglected lot come back to life and made it look like an absolute gem. Matt was the upmost professional from the very beginning. He took his time in explaining the services he provided and suggested the most appropriate one for my needs without ever being pushy. He was transparent with his pricing too which I really liked unlike other competitors. If you want a quality job done by an honest person that’s not gonna cost you an arm and a leg then Matt is your guy. I cannot say enough good things about him and his company. He gets 5 stars and A+++++ from me."

"I cannot say enough great things about Carolina Brush Contol and Matt. From the very beginning, Matt was professional, honest, communicative, and incredibly easy to work with. What stood out to me the most was how much he genuinely cared about the quality of the work and making sure everything was done right — not just rushing through the job to make the quickest dollar. That level of integrity is hard to find these days. He worked within my budget without ever making me feel pressured or upsold, and he kept me informed throughout the entire process. His communication was outstanding from start to finish, which made everything so much less stressful. On top of that, Matt personally handled all of the work himself, which honestly blew me away considering the amount of work that needed to be done. His work ethic, attention to detail, and pride in what he does are truly impressive. You can tell immediately that Matt takes his reputation seriously and genuinely wants his customers to be happy. The final result exceeded my expectations, and I was beyond impressed with both the craftsmanship and professionalism. Finding someone dependable, hardworking, fair, and this dedicated to doing exceptional work is rare. I would recommend Carolina Brush Control a hundred times over to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and skilled. "Such a great experience we had with Matt and Carolina Brush Control! Our home is on very densely wooded lot..which we love and value the privacy it brings but knew it could be cleaned up quite a bit. The undergrowth is thick and makes it difficult to fully explore and walk our property. Matt understood our vision for the space and made it happen! We’re so happy with the results and HIGHLY recommend this company to anyone!"

"We hired Matt at Carolina Brush Control to tackle a seriously overgrown back section of our yard, and the results were beyond what we expected. The before and after is unbelievable; our previously dense wall of brush, vines, and overgrowth is now open, usable space. He essentially doubled the functional size of our backyard in a day. Matt was professional, efficient, and clearly knows what he’s doing. The equipment he brought handled even the growth without issue, and the cleanup was thorough."

From start to finish, the experience was seamless. They gave me a very fair and competitive price, showed up exactly when they said they would, and worked incredibly fast. What looked like an absolute jungle was transformed into clean, usable land in no time. The quality of their forestry mulching is fantastic work—no massive debris left behind, just a beautifully cleared lot ready for its next steps. If you need brush clearing or land management done right, don't look anywhere else. I’ll definitely be using them again for future properties!"
